Kripalu Yoga with Claire Manganello
Classes begin with warm-up movements and breath awareness to prepare for yoga postures. The heart of each class is a sequence of postures that stretch, strengthen, and balance your body. Each class ends with deep relaxation and meditation. This class will be a gentle yoga class.
Claire also teaches periodic Restorative Yoga Classes. Restorative Yoga is a very gentle practice — perfect for deep relaxation, healing and stress relief. Pillows and folded blankets are employed to support your body so that you can hold the restorative yoga postures for along time — typically 5-10 minutes. You get the beneÁts of an intense yoga practice without having to use much effort! The class also includes warm-up postures, meditation, and yogic breathing. After a restorative yoga session, most people feel rested, content, and more connected to themselves. Please consider treating yourself to one of these gentle but powerful classes.

Hatha Yoga with Paula Parker
Certified Yoga Instructor & Reiki Master. Having suffered for years with anxiety and then post-partum depression, I attended my first yoga class when my younger daughter was 3 years old — it was 2 days after September 11, 2001. I remember being so amazed that for one hour I escaped what was going on in the world and was actually able to relax and “be” in each moment of the class. I emerged calmer and more focused…..and hooked on yoga.
I continued practicing in a weekly class, but was soon seeking more time on the mat and more time learning about this fascinating method of mind/body/heart connection. Yoga helped me, my siblings and my family cope with caring for my mother when she was terminally ill, and the aftermath of burying her at the young age of 66. That summer, as I was to turn 40, it became clear to me that my life purpose was to train to be a yoga/meditation teacher to share this wonderful gift with as many people as possible. I earned my teacher certification through Finding Inner Peace in October of 2005. I subsequently studied energy healing and earned Reiki Master level in May, 2007. I also hold a separate certification in Children’s Yoga and am currently enrolled in Meridian Yoga training.
I continue to teach a variety of classes each week with many different students, helping them bring peace and good health to their lives. I reside in Pembroke with my wonderful husband, Gary, and our two beautiful teen daughters. Peace & Goodness to you all…….namaste!
“The weekly yoga classes I attend are fantastic. Paula is an amazing teacher who modifies her classes to each persons individual needs. A great way to end the day!” ~ Claire Corbo
